SPY · QQQ · Dealer positioning, decoded

The market moves where the hedging pushes it. We show you where, hours ahead.

Helios reads dealer gamma on SPY and QQQ, turns it into timed trades with a hold rule, and grades every one in public. The structure read is right 72% of the time at 60 minutes, on 107 graded entries.

One instruction at a time: BUY CALLS or BUY PUTS, the start time, the hold, the sell-by time. Red or green when it closes. No options expertise required.

A TRADING DAY WITH HELIOS

What you get at 08:30, at 10:00, and in every graded hour.

The day is a sequence of reads, each with a time stamp and a record. You never have to guess what the machine thinks right now.

08:30 · The structure

  • Where dealers are long or short gamma
  • The zero-gamma line, the walls, the magnet
  • Liquidity and the Fed, in plain numbers
  • What the structure implies for the session, in if/then form

10:00 · The call and the machine side

  • One call per symbol, set from frozen inputs
  • Graded against the close, published nightly
  • The machine side: which side of the line the tape is on, with its record
  • STAND ASIDE when the structure and the tape disagree

During the session · Timed trade cards

  • BUY CALLS or BUY PUTS, with the start time
  • The hold rule and the sell-by time, per hour, from the record
  • Green or red when it closes, with the move
  • A Telegram alert the minute a side changes
UNDER THE HOOD

Built around how dealers actually hedge.

The same market-structure machinery a gamma desk runs, dealer positioning, hedging pressure, liquidity, read live and explained in plain words. Nothing black-boxed.

Dealer gamma and structure

  • Net gamma, call and put breakdown by strike
  • The zero-gamma line, 0DTE and all expiries
  • Gamma walls with strength, the magnet level
  • Distance to the line and to the walls, in basis points

Regimes and the line

  • Positive gamma: dealers lean against moves
  • Negative gamma: dealers lean with them
  • Regime flips as they happen, with the level that caused them
  • Which side of the line the tape holds, with its record

Flow and order-book timing

  • Options flow by expiry and strike
  • Order-book imbalance and the top of book
  • Block prints over $250k notional, live
  • Reads that only fire when flow and structure agree

Volatility mechanics

  • Vanna and charm pressure through the day
  • Term structure and the implied-volatility surface
  • Expiry-aware behavior on 0DTE and expiration days
  • Pin risk into the close

The paper book

  • The morning call traded on a paper account, fixed rules
  • Every entry and exit broker-timestamped
  • Shown to members live, on the ledger, simulated
  • Stops and flattens published, never edited

Grading, in public

  • Every read graded forward, never backfilled
  • Pre-registered pass and fail bars per organ
  • What fails is retired, and the retirement is published
  • No number ships without a live court behind it
The signal, end to end

One instruction at a time, with a clock on it.

The now box tells you the trade on the tape and how long it has left. When there is no graded read, it says so, in amber, and names the lean of the structure. Nothing to interpret.

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What traders ask first.

If your question is not here, email contact@helios.markets.

Where does the 72% come from?

It is the structure read's own record object, read live from the feed: the bot's real fills with the zero-gamma line since July 20, graded 60 minutes after each entry. Inside 30 basis points of the line the read refuses both sides, and those minutes are not counted. The basis sentence travels with the number everywhere it is shown.

What is a timed trade card?

An instruction with a clock: BUY CALLS or BUY PUTS, the start time, the hold rule and the sell-by time. The hold comes from that hour's record, not from a guess. When the card closes you see the move in green or red, and the next window is named. A card only fires in hours whose reads have passed their bar.

How do you grade yourselves?

Every read is stamped when it is made and graded forward, never backfilled. The 10:00 call is graded against the close; an hour read against the price 60 minutes later. Each organ has a pre-registered pass and fail bar. What fails is retired and the retirement is published. The ledger is public.

What data do you use?

OPRA-derived options chains, dealer positioning models calibrated against open interest and observed hedging behavior, real-time price and volume, and order-book data for imbalance. Volatility surfaces are smoothed with a no-arbitrage model.

How are the tiers gated?

Each payload is filtered on the server before delivery. Free sees the daily call, the machine side with its record, the regime and the key levels. Day Trader adds the timed cards, the hour reads, the live structure and Telegram alerts. Pro adds the positioning ladders, the volatility surface and API access. Your key encodes your tier.

Do you execute trades?

No. Helios is signals only. The paper book you see is a simulated account that trades the morning call under fixed published rules, shown so the rules can be checked. There is no order routing, no managed capital, and no individualized investment advice.

What symbols do you cover?

SPY and QQQ, the two most liquid index options in the world, both live. Pro customers can request additional liquid US equity options coverage per desk.

Can I trial Day Trader?

Start free. Engaged free members are invited to a 30-day Day Trader trial. Desks evaluating Pro can contact us for a 14-day trial.

How do I cancel?

Self-serve from your account. Subscriptions bill monthly and cancel at the end of the current period.
