What Helios is

helios.markets is a market-structure signals platform for SPY and QQQ options traders. It reads dealer gamma positioning — the mechanical hedging by options market makers that pushes and pins index prices — and publishes plain-English daily calls. What makes it unusual: every public call is machine-graded against real prices and published automatically, wins and misses, nothing edited, nothing deleted.

The live record

The Day Card — one full-day call per symbol, set 10:00 ET from frozen inputs, judged at the close. Weak setups are labeled LOW EDGE — STAND ASIDE on the card itself. Every verdict is published nightly.
The executor — Helios trades its own published signals on a live Alpaca paper account under a frozen rulebook (one contract per signal, maximum three trades a day). Every fill is broker-timestamped and shown to members in real time. Simulated execution, disclosed everywhere it appears.

Why it matters now

Retail traders are increasingly following automated and AI-assisted trading systems whose results are self-reported and unverifiable. Helios takes the opposite position: if retail is going to follow automated systems, the standard should be systems that grade themselves in public. Helios publishes its record nightly — including losing days — and quotes no performance number that its own machine-graded history doesn't support.

Research

The Weekend Structure Note — a weekly public research note on SPY/QQQ dealer positioning, gamma regimes, and the Fed liquidity backdrop. Free, no registration. Data available to journalists and researchers on request, with attribution.

Boilerplate

About helios.markets: helios.markets is a market-structure analysis platform covering SPY and QQQ dealer positioning, launched in 2026. It publishes daily machine-graded market calls, a public track record, and weekly structure research. Educational analysis only — not investment advice.
